Pick Idents & Presentation
Pick was originally launched on 1 November 2005 as Sky Three. In August 2008 Sky Three was re-branded as Sky3. On 28 February 2011 Sky3 was re-branded to Pick TV. Its latest re-brand occurred on 7 October 2013 when the name Pick TV was shortened to Pick.
Pick Current Presentation
A new look for Challenge was introduced on Thursday 23 June 2016. The new branding was created by creative agency MMMultiply.
Pick 2013 to 2016 Presentation
Pick TV was rebranded to Pick in 2013.
Pick TV 2011 to 2013 Presentation
On 28 February 2011 Sky3 was re-branded to Pick TV. Sky aimed to remove the ‘Sky’ brand from freeview with the exception of Sky News. The channels logo was designed by Zehra Ali Faik and the channel ident was created by Torquil Dearken.
Sky3 1 February to 28 February 2011 Presentation
Sky Atlantic was launched on 1 February 2011, at this time all of the Sky Entertainment channels including Sky3 received new logos and presentation. Sky3’s interim presentation was only used until 28 February 2011, when the channel was re-branded to Pick TV. A Free Weekend Pass took place from 11 to 13 February showcasing premium Sky programming.
Sky Three February 2008 to August 2008 Presentation
On Friday 15 February 2008 Sky One, Two and Three received new on air presentation. The 2004 logos are retained with the only changes being to the colour of the logos. Sky One – Blue, Sky Two – Green and Sky Three – Pink. The new presentation was temporary as a full re-brand was already being worked on for the three channels. The graphics were created in house by Sky Creative.
Sky Three 2004 to 2008 Presentyation
Sky 3 launched on 31 October 2005 at 5pm. The aim of the channel was to ”offer digital terrestrial viewers the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of popular programmes from Sky”. The channel adopted the branding created by Kaktus Films already in use on Sky One and Sky Two.
