Channel 4: 2004 Idents

A new look for Channel 4 was launched on New Year’s Eve 2004. “the very latest special effects techniques” were used to showcase the Channel 4 logo in various locations around the globe. The idents were created by the Moving Picture Company.

The residence of The Aylesbury Estate produced their own replacement of the Channel 4 Flats ident as a protest against Channel 4’s negative portrayal of their homes. Channel 4 stated the original ident would not be changing but did agree to air the new ident once.
