W is a general entertainment channel broadcasting in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as part of the UKTV network. The channel launched on 7 October 2008 on satellite through Sky, on cable through Virgin Media and Smallworld Cable, and on IPTV through BT TV and TalkTalk Plus TV.

W Current Presentation
On 15 February 2016 Watch was rebranded as ‘W’. Two idents were introduced using a diamond window transition between a constant loop of scenes of a Hospital, Flat, Office and a restricted underground area. As part of the changes the channel changed its focus to 30- to 39-year-old women, their partners, and family, “with whom they share a love of smart entertainment”. The rebrand was devised by Art & Graft.
